Khabran – Sikh Internet News and Information Dashboard
Today I’m glad to finally announce the beta launch of one of my small side projects: Khabran
Basically it’s a one-stop easy to use single page where you can go and peruse all the latest Sikh Internet buzz. Right now it’s full of Sikh News and some blogs, but if you have any RSS feed you think would be useful to add, either comment here or shoot me an email and I’ll add it if I agree :)
Check it out, please give me some feedback, don’t get too upset if it breaks every now and again as I add features and fix bugs.

This Website is created to spread the real message of Gurbani with help from Nihang Dharam Singh of Sach Khoj Academy. This website is different in the sense that all the interpretations of Gurbani done till now are based on the worldly meanings; whereas Gurbani contains teachings which are Omnipresent and Omniscient.

ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਆਤਮ ਗਿਆਨ ਬ੍ਰਮਹ ਵਿਦਿਆ ਹੈ ! ਪੰਡਿਤਾ ਜਾਂ ਵਿਦਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਸ ਬ੍ਰਮਹ ਵਿਦਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਅਵਿਦਿਆ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਤ੍ਰੀਆ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਜਾਂ ਨਾਰੀ ਵੀ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਗਇਆ !

O Lord, he is in love with ignorance.

बिबेक दीप मलीन ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Bibek ḏīp malīn. ||1|| rahā▫o.
His lamp of clear wisdom has grown dim. ||1||Pause||

Everything is within the home of the self; there is nothing beyond.
ਬਾਹਰਿ ਟੋਲੈ ਸੋ ਭਰਮਿ ਭੁਲਾਹੀ ॥
बाहरि टोलै सो भरमि भुलाही ॥
Bāhar tolai so bẖaram bẖulāhī.
One who searches outside is deluded by doubt.
ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਜਿਨੀ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਸੋ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਬਾਹਰਿ ਸੁਹੇਲਾ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥
गुर परसादी जिनी अंतरि पाइआ सो अंतरि बाहरि सुहेला जीउ ॥१॥
Gur parsādī jinī anṯar pā▫i▫ā so anṯar bāhar suhelā jī▫o. ||1||
By Guru’s Grace, one who has found the Lord within is happy, inwardly and outwardly. ||1||
ਭਾਵੇ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰਲੇ ਅਰਥ ਵੀ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਨੇ ਪਰ ਬਾਹਰਲੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਨਹੀ !
ਜਿਵੇ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਵਿਚ,

ਚੰਦ ਤੀਰਥ ਸਤਗੁਰ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦਰਿਆ ਆਦਿ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਤਾਂ ਬਾਹਰਲੇ ਨੇ ਪਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਅੰਦਰਲੇ ਅਰਥ ਹੀ ਲਵਾਂਗੇ ਕਿਓਂਕਿ ਬਾਹਰਲੇ ਅਰਥ ਕੱਚੇ ਤੇ ਅੰਦਰਲੇ ਅਰਥ ਪੱਕੇ (ਨਿਰਾਕਾਰੀ) ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ !

This is a really handy portal.
It’d be great if the dashboard had an rss feed so that you can read in ie google reader and rss hub…?
b0bble: Nice suggestion, but this is really aimed at people who don’t use google reader. You can easily add all the same feeds to your google reader.
I can also create a single RSS feed out of all of them pretty easily though if there was some more demand.

I’d be more interested in the rss feed for RSS Hub on my htc…? Are there any implications (cost or time) of creating the single rss feed?
No real implications other than I’m lazy :p
I’ll do it soon as I get a spot of time :)
